When it comes to pressure washing so many people run out to their local hardware store and buy an electric jet wash and away they go with the hope of fully restoring their driveways and patio areas.
This may have its place on some occasions but when it comes to professional pressure washing and restoration ‘Aqua-Holic Cleaning’ tries to take it to a different level.
When we carry out a pressure washing job the first thing we do is treat the area with a strong detergent that eats into and lifts dirt and grime.
This is followed by the actual pressure washing itself. We use ‘Honda’ petrol powered pressure washers along with ‘Whirl-Away’ surface cleaners for larger areas. The surface cleaner is ideal for block paved areas as the fan jets that spin rapidly are angled by design so as to take off the surface layer of sand between blocks. (If cleaning block paving)
After pressure washing block paved areas and driveways we then allow the surface to dry out thoroughly. After this has taken place we return and re-sand the area using ‘Kiln Dried’ sand which leaves a fresh sharp looking block paving.
We also clean Tarmac areas. This includes a ‘low pressure’ pressure wash again using our surface cleaners. The water pressure on this kind of surface is reduced to prevent damage but still powerful enough to clean thoroughly.
